Yet More Rew-ination for Newton Abbot

Submitted by

An article in the Mid Devon Advertiser on 28.09.18 reveals that Norman Rew is to submit plans for yet another housing project, this one nominally titled Langford Bridge, the address at which Norman Rew's farms currently stands. This will mean that, when the Wolborough Barton megalopolis is complete, it will cover everything between th esouthern end of Decoy around Buckland FC and the railway line and the South Devon Expressway. It will stretch east past Aller Brook, meaning that for some distance the Expressway will be bordered on both sides by houses.

Another 450 homes are planned for this section, added to the 1,200 houses already planned for NA3. If it goes ahead this extra section will complete the choking-off of Decoy Woods from the surrounding countryside its birds and fauna need access to.

Teignbridge District Council will begin the laughable process by which they pretend to court 'opinions' on this project soon.

The PDF can be found in the Cuttings & Dox section.
